Job Description:-

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, savoury finger food, etc. following traditional and modern recipes.
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients and make appropriate orders to minimize wastage / spoilage.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of condition of equipment and devices used for cooking / baking.
  • Maintain hygienic working environment all the time.
  • Maintain a lean and orderly kitchen and adhere to health and safety standards.
  • Deliver pastries, event, catering goods if needed.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Job Description:-

  • Compile and analyze relevant contents in multiple social media platforms
  • Plan and schedule for the company’s marketing activities
  • Produce creative marketing contents for the company
  • Support in customer engagement activities and handle enquiries
  • Work together with the team to discuss and identify ideas strategies towards marketing efforts

Requirement:-

  • Currently enrolment in an undergraduate course for marketing, communications, or in a similar field
  • Good attitude & responsible
  • Familiar in social media platforms
  • Creative and good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques

Pastry Demi Chef

Job Description:-

  • Assist in the preparation and production of a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods following standard recipes.
  • Support Chef de Partie / Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Prepare ingredients and components efficiently according to production needs.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors on replenishment needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Guide and support Commis Chefs when required.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude with strong sense of responsibility.
  • Passionate and committed to French pastry.
  • Able to communicate in BM & English.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in pastry or related role.
  • Basic leadership and team support skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Possess own transport to commute to Petaling Jaya.
Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP)

Job Description:-

  • Oversee a specific section of the pastry kitchen and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Execute and supervise production of cakes, desserts, and pastry items with consistency and high quality.
  • Plan daily production schedules and coordinate with kitchen team.
  • Ensure all products meet JY FOOD LAB’s quality and presentation standards.
  • Monitor inventory, control wastage, and place orders for ingredients when needed.
  • Train, guide, and supervise Demi Chefs and Commis Chefs.
  • Ensure proper usage, cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization standards.
  • Assist in R&D or menu development when required.
  • Handle event / bulk production planning and coordination.
  • Step in to solve operational issues and maintain workflow efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pastry kitchen (French pastry preferred).
  • High level of commitment to quality, precision, and consistency.
  • Able to communicate effectively in BM & English.
  • Strong attention to detail, hygiene, and organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • Problem-solving mindset with good decision-making skills.
  • Possess own transport to commute to Petaling Jaya.
Admin Assistant (Halal Committee)

Job Description:-

  • Handle daily customers’ enquiries from various channels.
  • Arrange daily delivery schedule, send reminder and update status.
  • Approach customers by phone calls, messages or email.
  • Handle customers’ feedback and request in a professional manner.
  • Assist in inventory management and regular stock update.
  • Assist in routine procurement activities.
  • Compile documents related to Halal certificate application and handle organized filing.
  • Assist in Halal related meeting, audit, inspection and other matters.

Requirement:-

  • Good attitude & responsible
  • Able to communicate in BM & English
  • Have own transport to commute to work in Petaling Jaya area.
